Three more acts have now been confirmed for this year’s Bloodstock Open Air Festival which takes place at Catton Hall in Derby from 12-14 August.
First up, Finnish pagan, folk metal band, Finntroll make an exciting return to the main stage. Last performing in 2007, the band are currently promoting their latest release, Niflevind on Century Media. Check out their video for Solsagan below.
Fellow Finnish act, Wintersun also make a welcome return after having to pull out of the line up for Bloodstock in 2009 to complete album, Time, which is still to be finished. The band is hoping for a release later this year.
Final confirmation comes from 80s thrash bad boys, Forbidden. October of last year saw them release their first album in 13 years titled Omega Wave and Bloodstock are delighted to announce this will be Forbidden’s first UK festival performance.
