It is finally upon us, Punkyfish’s Autumn/Winter Collection that is, and in true Punkyfish style, it has no reflection on the dreary British weather we are so fearfully expecting.
Printed leggings and trousers are definitely going to be a staple item to obtain next season and Punkyfish have nailed that with these fantastic black lace flares. Wear with coloured tights underneath to give an extra twist.
If they are a tad too garish, then go for a subtle print with these rock star leggings:
No Punkyfish collection is complete without a range of statement tees and the A/W ’11 Collection is no exception. Punk inspired lighting bolts, edgy skulls and vintage art prints adorn the range; Culture Bomb’s two favourites are this black and white skull tee and white, diamante legs print with the cutest, frilly sleeves:
Mainstream fashion may be clutching firmly to their, well, clutch purses but us alternative types prefer something much more practical to carry around. Mustard yellow, the must-have colour for next season, mixed up with animal print, skulls and Paul Boutique-inspired designs. Fortunately, they are at much more affordable prices than old Paul Boutique and come highly recommended.
For the truly brave fashionista out there, may we draw your attention to this racy slash front top with the added suggestion you wear with a brightly coloured or heavily printed vest underneath. Anything less and you WILL look tarty.
There are some gorgeous dresses that are simple in cut but have that Punkyfish innovative design. Just check out this T-shirt dress with gypsy face motif on the front. Would look great for the day with ankle boots and fish-net tights, then chuck on some heels and eyeliner to take it to the evening. Anything multi-functioning is a necessity for the team at Culture Bomb.
The batwing sleeves are ever so flattering for all shapes and hide any issues one may have with their upper arms.
The final pick from Punkyfish’s new collection from the Culture Bomb team is this fantastic newspaper print skirt. Comes in an off-white and grey and as we tend to be a mucky bunch, felt the grey was a safer option and looks just as striking as the brighter version. Keeping the skirt as the main focus, wear with a dark coloured top and bright heels, to add a pop to the whole outfit.
This is, of course, only a few items from the new A/W ’11 collection from Punkyfish. Get on over to their website and be prepared to give your credit card a bashing; there is so much choice and amazing designs that you won’t know where to start, one thing is for certain though, keep it fun!
